This quilt is improv-pieced by machine in a log cabin style and hand-quilted in a grid pattern with multi-colored embroidery thread. Log cabin improv is how I taught myself to quilt and it is my favorite method to come back to every now and then to feel true freedom of creative flow.
This size is so versatile. It makes the coziest lap quilt for a favorite chair, easy comforting travel size, a baby quilt that little ones can continue to grow with. Also makes a beautiful wall hanging, picnic quilt, perfect for napping or curling up with a favorite book.
Batting is cotton.Binding is hand-stitched.
Care:
Machine wash cold, delicate cycle using gentle detergent. Tumble dry low heat or air dry. To keep colors from fading, store or display out of direct sunlight. Create warm memories, love, patch, and mend.
